Meadows Shopping Centre, Chelmsford
This project was the continuing relationship with John Roberts Associates, Architects with whom we have enjoyed a close working relationship with Leisure and Retail projects in Saudi Arabia.
The Clients were an Australian Venture Group
West One, Oxford Street, London
A further continuing relationship with our Client Leisure International with whom we had been working on the Marriott Hotel, Amsterdam and the Hyatt Al Shams, Cairo.
In addition to the L-shaped shopping centre there are circa 32,000sq.ft of residential flats which were fitted out to shell and core standard only
The Chimes, Uxbridge
A joint venture development between the Labour controlled Uxbridge Council and Carroll Group. The project included the roofing over of the L-shaped open mall, with smoke activated opening roof smoke release dampers which operated on an air balance principle.
At first floor level the original shop units had residential and with the enclosed roof being introduced we were able to assist with advice on Fire Engineering relating to the Means of Escape.
