Position: Building Services Autocad CAD Operator/Revit Technician

Ralph T King & Associates are looking for a Building Services CAD Operator/Revit Technician. The applicant will need to have at least 2 years’ experience with AUTOCAD/REVIT in an engineering environment using the latest software to produce a wide variety of drawings. You will be a motivated team player able to work to tight deadlines under pressures and flexible in your approach to work.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in multi-discipline role (Mechanical & Electrical) within Building Services using Autocad.

  • Experienced in creating Mechanical ductwork/drainage/water services layouts/schematics.

  • Experienced in creating Electrical lighting/small power/security/fire alarm layouts/schematics.

  • Some experience of Revit desirable but not essential.

  • Competent in use of the Microsoft Office Suite.

Duties:

  • Creating/updating 2D Cad drawings (plans & schematics) from engineer’s mark-ups.

  • Preparing Architects/Structural drawings for use as xreferences.

  • Managing/logging incoming & outgoing CAD drawings.

  • Undertake system & project housekeeping.

  • Liaising directly with the engineering team, discussing time frames and design detailing.

  • Basic Revit Modelling.

  • Salary £30k to be agreed depending on experience & capabilities.

  • 25 Days Holiday, 37.5 hour week.
